The two halves of Egypt together bow before you,

The land is made luminous with the splendor of your body,

Being divine in the heavens, you are the beneficent Neter,

When your rays end the day and enter the underworld

Osiris and the Gods guide and protect thee with angels of your majesty

The promise of death reborn, of the end of darkness, the end of battle

The promise to dwell with thee in the heavens is a signal to all living

When thou rises thee put and end to the hours of the night

Thou end them in thy own appointed time and season and the earth becomes light

When thou rises at dawn those on earth cry out in joy

Every heart cries in joy at thy glorious sight, a saving grace for many!

Your rays point the way to the grace of heavens

Thou are beautiful, and all through the ages have rejoiced thy name

We stand in awe when seeing your power and might

My morning prayers to Ra

Blessed be living disc of life

You are the beginning and the end of life

You rise in the east bringing forth your blessings

You are supreme and self-existing

You are immortal, uncreated,

The creator of all heavens and of the earth

You have made everything that exist

You were creator of all that is living

You existed before all things

You represent the pure and the abstract idea of divinity

You are represented in all the gods, you are the ennead

You manifest yourself though your creation

You send your light to us via the living disc in the sky

This living disc, this light gave life to all forms of existence in nature

When you created all you set forth your laws of life

You are creator of all the mysteries and multitude of forms of life

You send forth a sound and Nu was created

Then with your wisdom Shu and Tefnut was created

With your blessings Geb and Nut became and from then Osiris and Isis

Blessed are you God, creator of Gods, creator of the living on earth

I have seen the birth of the blessed light on the eastern side of heaven

I pray that the strength of your light is my strength

I pray that the light of your light is my light

Homage to you lord of justice, truth, goodness and divine harmony

Grant me that I might unite with you in these laws

Destroy all weaknesses and temptations that may cross my path today

Blessed are you my creator, Ra

You will travel through the sky and give light to all living souls

Khepera the creator of the gods. 

Thou risest and thou shinest, and thou makest light to be in the thy mother Nut,

The land of Manu receiveth thee with satisfaction, and the goddess Maat embraceth thee both at orn and at eve.

Hail, all ye gods of the Temple of the Soul, who weigh heaven and earth in the balance, and who provide divne food in abundance. 

O come ye and acclaim Ra, the lord of heaven and the Creator of the gods, and adore ye him in his beautiful form as he cometh in the morning gin his divine bark.

The god Thoth and the goddess Maat have marked out for thee for each and every day. 

Thine enemy the Serpent hath been given over to the fire and shall nevermore rise up against thee.

The Temple of the Aged One keepeth festival, and the voice of those who rejoice is in the mighty dwelling.

The Majesty of the holy god goeth forth and advanceth even unto the land of Manu, he maketh brilliant the earth at his birth each day;

Introductory Hymn to the Sun-God Ra

Worship of Re when He rises in the Eastern Horison of the Sky:

N Says:

Hail to you, you having come as Khepri, even Khepri who is the creator of the gods. You rise and shine on the back of your mother the sky, having appeared in glory as King of the gods. Your mother Nut shall use her arms on your behalf in making greeting. The Manu-mountain receives you in peace. Maat embraces you at all seasons. May you give power and might in vindication – and a coming forth as a living soul to see horakhty – to the ka of N.

N says: O all you gods of the Soul-mansion who judge sky and earth in the balance, who give food and provisions; O Tatenen, Unique One, creator of mankind; O Southern, Northern, Eastern and Western Enneads, give praise to Ra, Lord of the Sky, the Sovereign who made the gods. Worship him in his goodly shape when he appears in the Day-bark. May those who are above worship you, may those who are below worship you, may Thoth and Maat write to you daily; your serpent-foe has been given over to the fire and the rebel-serpent is fallen, his arms are bound, Ra has taken away his movements, and the Children of Impotence are non-existent. The Mansion of the Prince is in festival, the noise of shouting is in the Great Place, the gods are in joy, when they see Ra in his appearing, his rays flooding the lands. The Majesty of this noble god proceeds, he has entered the land of Manu, the land is bright at his daily birth, and he has attained his state of yesterday. May you be gracious to me when I see your beauty, having departed from upon earth. May I smite the Ass, may I drive off the rebel-serpent, may I destroy Apep when he acts, for I have seen the abdju-fish in its moment of being and the bulti-fish piloting the canoe on its waterway. I have seen Horus as helmsman with Thoth and Maat beside him, I have taken hold of the bow-warp of the Night-bark and the stern-warp of the Day-bark. May he grant that I see the sun-disc and behold the moon unceasingly every day; may my soul go forth to travel to every place which it desires; may my name be called out, may it be found at the board of offerings, may there be given to me loaves in the Presence like the Followers of Horus, may a place be made for me in the solar bark on the day when the god ferries across, and may I be received into the presence of Osiris in the Land of Vindication.

Thou decreest rejoicing for [every] man for millions of years unto those who love him. Thou givest [thy] face to the Hememet spirits, thou god Khepera who dwellest in thy Boat. Thou hast overthrown the Fiend Aapep. O ye Sons of Keb, overthrow ye the enemies of the Osiris Ani, whose word is truth, and the fiends of destruction who would destroy the Boat of Ra. Horus hath cut off your heads in heaven. Ye who were in the forms of geese, your navel strings are on the earth. The animals are set upon the earth..... in the form of fish. Every male fiend and every female fiend shall be destroyed by the Osiris Ani, whose word is truth. Whether the fiends descend from out of heaven, or whether they come forth from the earth, or whether they advance on the waters, or whether they come from among the Star-gods, Thoth, [the son of Aner], coming forth from Anerti shall hack them to pieces. And the Osiris Ani shall make them silent and dumb. And behold ye, this god, the mighty one of slaughters, the terror of whom is most great, shall wash himself clean in your blood, and he shall bathe in your gore, and ye shall be destroyed by the Osiris Ani in the Boat of his Lord Ra-Horus. The heart of the Osiris Ani, whose word is truth, shall live. His mother Isis giveth birth to him, and Nephthys nurseth him, just as Isis gave birth to Horus, and Nephthys nursed him. [He] shall repulse the Smait fiends of Suti. They shall see the Urrt Crown stablished upon his head, and they shall fall down upon their faces [and worship him]. Behold, O ye Spirit-souls, and men, and gods, and ye dead, when ye see the Osiris Ani, whose word is truth, in the form of Horus, and the favoured one of the Urrt Crown, fall ye down upon your faces. The word of the Osiris Ani is truth before his enemies in heaven above, and on earth beneath, and before the Tchatchau Chiefs of every god and of every goddess.
